Yamaha Introduces All-New YXZ1000R

Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, introduces the all-new YXZ1000R, the world's only pure sport Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicle. Boasting a high-performance 3-cylinder 998cc engine with a class-defining 5-speed sequential shift manual transmission, the two-seat YXZ1000R provides a superior driver-connected experience in the dunes, desert or on the trail.
Unmatched Handling and Performance

The YXZ1000R is born of true Yamaha performance DNA serving up unmatched handling characteristics, resulting in the vehicle's features being perfectly positioned and integrated into a single, seamless package working as one. Strategically mounted low and longitudinally in the chassis, the engine placement affords the YXZ1000R long rear wheel and suspension travel for superior sport SxS performance. A single shaft, one-axis balancer reduces engine vibration by 25% for a more comfortable ride while also allowing a rigid engine mount to reduce weight and offer a more direct throttle/engine feel for the driver.

Special Edition Features

In addition to the durable bead-lock wheels, the YXZ1000R SE is highlighted by a stunning 60th Anniversary Yellow and Black graphics package with matching A-arms for standout style.

300-pound Cargo Capacity

Bring what you need, thanks to the YXZ1000R SE's composite cargo bed, with a 300-pound capacity and four steel tie-down points. A sealed compartment next to the cargo bed and glove box in the cab provide additional storage, as do passenger-side cup holders and a central storage tray in the dashboard.

Standard Suntop

The YXZ1000R SE comes standard with a composite suntop integrated into the ROPS structure. A pair of whip flag mounts are ready for customization options, too.

Aggressive LED Lighting

Four super bright and long-lasting LED headlight assemblies provide brilliant forward illumination and give the YXZ1000R SE a sinister and aggressive sense of style, with a bright LED tail light out back for extra visibility.
